About the Humberston Fitties and the Cleethorpes area
Humberston Fitties is a conservation area, filled with quirky chalets of many different designs and colours, some dating back to the second world war. You will be pleased to know that electricity is now with us instead of the gas lamps used when the Fitties was first established. The way of life is relaxing, relaxing, relaxing.
Our chalets are nestled behind the sand dunes just a stone's throw from the beautiful sandy, dog friendly beach. If you are early birds then a sunrise is a must! We are situated on a tidal estuary so please be aware of incoming tides and obey the seaside code. As we are situated in a conservation area, we are mindful of keeping our beaches clean and free from anything which shouldn't be there. If you would like to join in with our quest to help the environment you will find a litter picker and bin bags at the chalet.
Our beach is a favourite with kite surfers, while a short walk into Cleethorpes brings paddle boarders and jet ski enthusiasts. The Country Park is a 5 minute drive away and we are very close to the Tetney Marshes, an RSPB nature preserve so bring your binoculars! If you enjoy sea fishing then bring your rods, if not, then just your bucket and spade; you will find a selection of these at our chalets for children to use.

Just spent a really relaxing five nights at The Little Haven which is really well equipped for our stay. The Little Haven is really clean, nice bedding and towels provided. The outside areas are a suntrap at all times of the day (when the sun is out). Lisa and Julie have done a great job providing for our needs and best of luck for the future. Also the chalet's large plot is dog friendly and there are nice walks nearby.

Had a wonderful time here, will be recommending The Little Haven to all my family, friends and customers. What a lovely weekend, enjoyed every minute of being here. If you want to relax and get away from it all, this is certainly the place to be. Lisa and Julie - well done for making our weekend perfect (will definitely be returning).

What an absolutely amazing chalet, both inside and out! The Little Haven Beach Chalet is beautiful, the decor stunning and everything you could wish for is provided. We have enjoyed the beautiful sunshine on the decking (in a variety of places) and explored the area on foot each day.
A fantastic stay in a peaceful, tranquil setting. Thank you Julie and Lisa for everything (the welcome pack is a very generous touch). We will definitely be returning.

We had a lovely chilled 3 nights, the weather was kind too. The chalet was immaculate and had many sweet touches, my grandson age 2 loved playing in the garden and on the decking and particularly enjoyed watering the plants with nanna. We loved how cosy it was at night time and slept really well. Beth (daughter) brought her power wheelchair so walking the dogs was brilliant. I would love to come again, I can honestly say a lovely chalet plus being labrador friendly was a real bonus xx

We have had a fantastic time, 4 humans and one staffie pup! Lovely accommodation, in a lovely/perfect spot. We have enjoyed the beach and long walks. Close to Cleethorpes and also the nature walk both of which we enjoyed. The accommodation is lovely, looks great outside and in. Loads of space, it's like the tardis! We really appreciated the little touches that made our stay, like cake and Halloween decorations. We all agreed we need to come back in the summer to enjoy the garden even more! Great fish and chips from down the road. Overall first rate. Many thanks.

Our first time using Air B&B and also staying on the East coast. Julie and Lisa have been awesome and really friendly. The property was immaculate and finished to a high standard. super dog friendly for our 11 month old Labrador "Maze". 3 minutes walk on to the beach. Highly recommended.

Fantastic chalet to stay in, plenty of room. The garden area is fenced off which is perfect for doggies. Host is brilliant and easy to get in touch with. The place was very clean and well thought out, even had plastic cutlery for the kids. Perfect location being a short walk away from the beach and the summer house is perfect to soak up the last bit of sun in the evening, would highly recommend.

Periwinkle is a little slice of loveliness in Humberston Fitties. A hidden gem of a place with great beaches and a holiday vibe. Our dog loved it as much as we did. The chalet is immaculately clean, nicely laid out and well equipped with everything you need. Lovely touches too with goodies for us and the pooch. Its a really peaceful place with a great garden and nice summerhouse to chill in. We had great weather and feel rested and refreshed after our wee break. Julie was really responsive to all my messages and is a great host. Thank you x

We had a lovely short break, the beach chalet is clean, well maintained & decorated lovely. The location is peaceful, & a short stroll to the beach. The two decking areas are great to soak up the weather & dine al-fresco, lovely large secure garden for the dog to roam around in. We took a steady walk into Cleethorpes with a dog & pram which took around 45minutes, stopping for a drink on the way. Plenty to do in and around Cleethorpes. Large Tesco Extra down the road handy for bits. The host left a lovely welcome hamper & had all the ‘essentials’ in the cupboards you could need. We had a lovely break & i’d definitely recommend the place to family & friends

A very cosy, comfortable and charming little chalet. Beautifully done out and perfect for a short stay with our 4 yr old, who loved the garden space outside. Very handy for the beach and a short drive into Cleethorpes.

Beautiful property, lovely inside and out, great size & beautifully maintained enclosed garden for the children and dog to enjoy, very peaceful location & short walk to the beach. We lived every minute of it, it was like a tardis inside, plenty of space for us all and so thoughtful everything we could possibly wish for was provided for/considered. A very cute, scrupulously clean and beautifully decorated beach chalet. We loved the decking where we could sit out and have our morning tea. Being so near to the beach was delightful. We just wanted to say thank you for a lovely stay in your beach chalet. I don't know if you are aware, but you have some birds nesting in your loft space. I know there's nothing you can do about it until they've gone, but just thought I'd say in case you weren't aware. They have gone in under the eaves over the main bedroom at the back. Lovely, clean & well thought out property - large plot so very dog friendly and only a 2 minute (5 if you get lost) walk from the beach Lisa and Julie have thought of everything even down to putting lovely little touches of Christmas decorations to make our stay more welcoming and a really lovely welcome pack on arrival was very thoughtful Super clean, super lovely & super thoughtful hosts we definitely would go again

Airbnb - Lovely chalet in a peaceful location. It has a big garden so good if you have a dog. Lots of extras provided including a welcome pack with nice goodies and treats for the dogs. The chalet was lovely and clean and well equipped. I would definitely stay again.
